By booking an appointment with Dora’s Dog Grooming, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to our terms and conditions.

Deposits will be taken on all online bookings and the remaining balance to paid on appointment.

No shows/cancelling an appointment
Should you not be able to attend your appointment, we require 48hrs notice. Failure to do so will result in full grooming charge being made.

Matted coat
Dora’s Dog Grooming WILL NOT de-matt any dog, this is very uncomfortable and painful for your dog. Home maintenance is essential for the health and well-being of your dog, failure to maintain at home will result in a very short clip-off for your dogs benefit. Clipping a matted coat is dangerous, Dora’s Dog Grooming will not be held responsible for any injury that occurs due to a neglected coat. Extra time spent will result extra charge.

Health Medical problems and accidents
Grooming can be very stressful, particularly for elderly dogs, breaks will be taken during the grooming session however, in the best interest of your pet, should your dog become unwell or injured during grooming, we will attempt to contact you and your dog will be taken to our closest vets (Abbey Vets).

Fleas
Before visiting Dora’s Dog Grooming, please check your dog for fleas, should your dog arrive at the salon with fleas, your dog will be treated and groomed, however if we have any other dogs in at the same time, you may be charged for treatment of that dog too. As the salon will have to close for de-fumigating, there may be a charge.

Aggressive/Dangerous dogs
You MUST inform us of any previous aggression with other dogs, people or previous groomers. We reserve the right to refuse or stop grooming your dog at any time. Should your dog become aggressive during a groom, Dora’s Dog Grooming will not be held responsible for any injury to your dog. Extra time spent will result in extra charge.

Drop off/Pick-up
Should you be late for your appointment, Dora’s Dog Grooming have the right to refuse to groom your dog, however your groom will need to be paid in full. Failure to collect your dog at a reasonable arranged time after your dogs groom will result in extra charge.

Welfare
If Dora’s Dog Grooming suspect your dog is suffering from any form of neglect or abuse contact will be made to the RSPCA.
